Our Story
Want to dive even deeper?
Here’s one of the most incredible stories we’ve ever been part of, and it explains where the technical excellence, show structure, and high-level performance training behind Magic & More truly comes from.
Magic & More is powered by LCD Productions, a Saskatoon-based entertainment company owned by Corrie and Lindsay Swallow. With over 30 years of experience, Corrie J is an international hypnotist and mentalist who has performed on major stages across North America. He’s performed for the Calgary Flames, headlined county and state fairs across the USA, and closer to home, he’s been a staple at the legendary Craven Country Festival and the Festival of Trees Father-Daughter Gala. If you’ve been to live entertainment in Saskatoon, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Corrie, or you’ve seen someone who learned from the environment he’s built.
But here’s the thing. Corrie is a hypnotist and mentalist, not a magician. And that’s part of why Magic & More exists. Because Corrie isn’t just an entertainer. Lindsay and Corrie are builders. They build experiences. They build events. And most importantly, they build performers. Over the years, Corrie has developed a system for identifying raw talent and turning it into world-class performance. He knows what separates someone who does tricks from someone who commands a room. He knows how to create moments that people remember long after the event is over. When you book with Magic & More, you’re not just getting a show. You’re getting an artist who has been hand-picked, trained, and developed by one of the most experienced performers in the business
In 2022, Corrie was performing in Whitehorse, Yukon, when a young grad approached him and said, “I want to be a full-time performer.” Corrie has heard that before. A lot of people like the idea, but very few have what it takes. So Corrie asked the only question that matters: “What do you do?” The young man answered, “I’m a magician.” Corrie didn’t smile politely. He said, “Show me something.” What he saw made him stop. The magic was sharp, the timing was right, and there was a natural charisma there, that rare it-factor performers spend years chasing.
Corrie went home and told Lindsay he had a plan. He texted the young magician: “You have 24 hours to call me if you want to do this for real.” The magician called. Corrie explained that if you want to be a performer, you need stage time. Real crowds. Real pressure. Real reps. Then he laid down the deal: “If you do this, you’re living my life for the next year.” The young magician agreed. When Corrie picked him up at the airport, he asked if he had his suit. The magician said yes. Corrie said, “Good. Put it on. You’re on stage in 25 minutes.” No warm-up. No rehearsal. Welcome to the real world. He walked out, performed, and crushed it. Standing ovation.
In Ben’s first month, he performed over 50 shows. Corrie connected the right dots, made the right calls, and set the right opportunities in motion. Soon after, Ben was on Canada’s Got Talent and France’s Got Talent. Today, Magic Ben is a high-end illusionist performing across Canada, the USA, and Europe. He’s proof of what happens when talent meets training, opportunity, and relentless stage time. And that’s the level of excellence you get when you book with Magic & More.
You won’t see Corrie J or Magic Ben performing at Magic & More kids events. But you will see what they built. Because Magic & More isn’t random entertainment. It’s a system. It’s a place where performers grow, where talent is coached, and where stage time is earned. The truth is, one of the hardest things to do as a performer is to get stage time. You need shows to get better. You need real audiences. You need reps.
Magic & More creates a win-win: the client gets affordable, high-quality fun, the performer gets experience and growth, and LCD Productions continues developing talent for the bigger stage.
So when you book Magic & More, you’re not just booking “someone who does tricks.” You’re booking a company built on real entertainment, real training, real experience, and a real standard of quality.
